Deep Truth

"Finally, brethren, whatever things are true... meditate on these things." (From Philippians 4.)
First we have to know what's true! Here's one area of that which needs to be addressed.
That church goers can support the "progressive" left and do not understand the anti Christ agenda the left actually advances - due to believing mainstream media - is a sad characteristic of numerous religious people. Or they somehow have bought into the idea that Jesus was a socialist! That "team" of career politicians calls themselves people of faith. Faith in the state as absolute god (communism, fascism, totalitarianism, statism...) must be what they mean. The god of this world is who they serve, not the Lord Jesus Christ. The fruit is evidence, not what they claim. Since they usuall are not saying what the listener thinks they are anyway.
That church goers have not bothered to even look at these politicians' track records without question is likewise more than surprising. They just react to the POTUS's personality and, so they go full throttle to the left without asking any questions. Out of the frying pan into the fire. So much for look before you leap.
Which means they're actually also supporting the murder of the unborn right up to full term. And where that death agenda goes from there is anybody's guess, as to whom the state shall decide has no value or humanity. Know this: your turn is coming if you identify as Christian. But you will probably be given opportunities to deny the Lord Jesus Christ who died for you.
Indoctrinated in "social justice" thinking from pre school through post grad, many support "social action" anarchists like BLM or ANTIFA which are destroying and burning the cities of the USA... This frankly BLOWS ME AWAY!!! This means calling evil good and good evil. That is not truth. It's demonic. It is living under deception.
Thus this idea that light can have fellowship with darkness is another lie which infests Christendom. "We can all just get along." No. Sorry. That is not how it works in the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. Hate to break it to you, but, Scripture is clear - "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership can righteousness have with wickedness? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?" 2Corinthians 6:14,15.
The Prince of peace does not come tolerating sin and evil in the name of "love"; He comes also bringing a sword, the sword of truth. "Do not think that I have come to bring peace upon the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to part asunder a man from his father, and a daughter from her mother, and a newly married wife from her mother-in-law, And a man’s foes will be they of his own household." Matthew 10:34-36.
Remember, one of the first things God did in the beginning is to separate light from darkness. Think about that. Jesus Christ, the Word Who was from the beginning, the same yesterday, today, and forever.
"Surely You desire truth in the inmost being; You teach me wisdom in the inmost place. Purify me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow." Psalm 51:5-7. What we embrace in the world reveals what drives us from within. Like it or not. "True religion" isn't just a white wash pseudo gospel; it's transformational and drenches the very fabric of our being.
Got some more "meditating" to do about truth versus lies and darkness - via the Scripture... which also goes in the direction of drawing a line in the sand in some areas of life that mean a lot to me. Very often truth is not a feel good path.
