"Now the Lord is the Spirit, and WHERE THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS THERE IS FREEDOM. And we, who with UNVEILED FACES all reflect the glory of the Lord, ARE BEING TRANSFORMED INTO HIS IMAGE with intensifying glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit." (2 Corinthians 3:17,18 BSB / caps etc.
This passage has been inspiring some deep and interesting
discussions in our home of late, as to unveiled faces (unmasked?) reflecting the growing likeness of Christ, as an unstoppable work and manifestation of God's grace in His own who have surrendered themselves to it.
We're perceiving that we're losing our freedoms. Even the freedom of an uncovered face... But what if, just what if
a great uncovering and revealing is really underway? (Personally this twists my innards 6 ways till Sunday in some respects, but that's not my point here.) However, my take on a lot of this - spiritually - is that every human face has the potential to reflect
the very Countenance of God in Christ Jesus, Whose intent is the restoration of the Imago Dei in every blood bought soul He died for. The dark side wants to deny this by "requiring" something which distorts or covers this image, and/or
its process of becoming, its restoration. Beyond the masks there is every push to defile the image of God in male and female human beings.
My suspicion is that our full and naked faces twist their innards a whole lot worse than what they do can twist ours! Because it is another indicator of the brightness of His coming, His
return, and the restoration of all things! ... Back on track!
is just one sign of the hidden, unseen, and diabolical nature of the "covid coup coverup."
St. Paul prays a number of prayers toward this fullness actually happening in the Body of Christ:
"FOR THIS REASON I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might
through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ
which passes knowledge; THAT YOU MAY BE FILLED UP WITH ALL THE FULLNESS OF GOD. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen." (Ephesians 3:14-21 NKJV)
Warning: Pray this prayer along with Apostle Paul if you dare, only if you mean what it says and comprehend what it means. It goes beyond a lovely slice of pie in the sky in the sweet by and by.
