The Last Word

"And the twenty-four elders who sit on their thrones before God fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying: We give thanks to You, O Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was, because You have taken Your great power and have begun to reign. The nations were enraged, and Your wrath has come. The time has come to judge the dead and to reward Your servants the prophets, as well as the saints and those who fear Your name, both small and great - and to destroy *those who destroy the earth.”
Revelation 11:17-18
*Those who destroy the earth have been making war against it and against humankind, since the beginning of time, with the most recent tactics which include polluting and poisoning the air and skies, polluting the water, genetically modifying the food, and now humans themselves with their Little Demon which they are trying to force on all (whom they blame for "climate anomilies" and the like because they think there are too many of us).
War is already being waged on many levels in addition to these. There are psychological and emotional wars on men's minds with lies and propaganda ad nauseam. Not the least of which is an all out spiritual assault on the Church, the real Ground Zero, for She is the very Body of Christ, despised by the god of this world.
The last word does not belong to those who destroy the Earth, with a view to setting themselves up as gods under the usurper god of this world. There is a comeuppance heading their way. They know it, but they still stubbornly refuse to acknowledge the Creator, King of kings, and Lord of lords.
He has been patient.
"For behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind." Isaiah 65:17
"as you anticipate and hasten the coming of the day of God, when the heavens will be destroyed by fire and the elements will melt in the heat. But in keeping with God’s promise, we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells. Therefore, beloved, as you anticipate these things, make every effort to be found at peace - spotless and blameless in His sight." 2 Peter 3:12-14.
Suggestion: Also read, pray about, and meditate on Psalm 37. Give thanks, for God is faithful to His promises!
